I always pass this old railway every time I go to church and ironically I just noticed it last week. I decided to take a photo just this afternoon (and of course before going to church since it is on the way). I am on top of a bridge crossing over the railroad. There are no trains passing on these tracks anymore that's why I had plenty of time to take this shot. =)
I went home last week to my home country - The Philippines, to celebrate my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. It gave me the opportunity to take some portrait shots of my entire family. It was really a good time to practice and learn by experience because here in Singapore I usually take landscapes and still life. I also experienced the rush of setting up a tripod because everybody is watching and waiting for me to take some pictures. =)
Above is my niece taken when she arrived at the venue. We didn't had a sunny morning since it was raining hard that day. All in all I am satisfied. I'm starting to love my 50mm lens. =))
